Brunel MSc in Data Science and Analytics / MSc in Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Application Form -  (2021/22 entry)

You must have already applied to one of the following programmes for entry in September 2021 (2021/22 cycle) before you apply for this scholarship:

- MSc Data Science and Analytics (full time, part time or staged masters)
- MSc Artificial Intelligence (full time, part time or staged masters)

We will only accept one entry per person and you must submit a complete application. Incomplete applications will be rejected automatically.

Submission Deadline - Applications should be submitted no later than midnight on 30 June 2021 (GMT). Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. 

Your Details

    Personal Statement

    As part of the application process evidence is required to confirm that you meet the under-represented characteristics as stated in the terms and conditions. Information regarding your ethnicity, gender, estranged status, military family status and refugee status are required at the time of application. Additionally when the scholarship is awarded you will be required to provide evidence that you meet the under-represented characteristics listed in the terms and conditions.  This information will be taken from your course application and verified after the scholarship is awarded. Ethnicity and Low Participation Neighbourhood will be collected from your UCAS/UTT/Brunel application form.

    The University will contact you when we need to verify your details. Please read the bursary terms and conditions for more information. If you are awarded the scholarship more information will be provided in your award email.

    Privacy Notice

    As part of the scholarship application process, additional information will be requested of you in order to determine your eligibility. Eligibility criteria for this scholarship have been established by the Office for Students (OfS) as categories identified as under-represented (UR) in relation to careers in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. These categories are subject specific UR criteria and do not represent Brunel as a whole.  In order to assess your eligibility for a scholarship the Department of Computer Science will require personal information from you, this will include your personal details including gender, ethnicity, disability, address, care leaver, estranged status, military family background and refugee status. This information will solely be used by the Department of Computer Science who will access and assess your scholarship application, and by the Brunel Scholarship Allocation Panel who will consider your eligibility for an award. Information will be collected via the scholarship application form and verified using the Brunel application form, the Brunel Registration task where information has been collected for University purposes. Where data has not been collected applicants will be asked to produce evidence confirming they meet the UR criteria, full details will be provided to successful scholarship winners. All information collected will be stored securely in our CRM system (Azorus) and the student records system (SITS) and will not be transferred to a third party.
